What we’re looking for

As we expand our footprint globally, we’re looking for someone to provide strong commercial & financial advice on pricing, trade margin management, excise optimization models, competitor analysis, capital and marketing investment and other operational issues as well as ensuring that the senior management team is appropriately communicated with on actual & forecast performance. What you’ll be responsible for

  • Fostering strong relationships with business units and other functions by establishing a business partner relationship within the commercial finance team
  • Develop “objective-based “systems & process enhancements to enable more effective day-to-day management of business profitability
  • Develop and/or enhance existing forecasting models
  • Prepare relevant analysis for Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) meetings
  • Prepare relevant analysis for Group Pricing and Excise Committee and support other business units to ensure compliance
  • Overlook Capital and Marketing expenditure to support return on investment-based decision making
  • Play a lead role in coaching the finance & operational teams to become more commercially competent in their approach to support business decisions
  • Challenge existing modus operandi, questioning processes and structures which are currently deployed

Who you are

  • 4-5 years’ financial, commercial & market experience in accounting/analytical roles with relevant FMCG sector experience. Excised goods industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CMA, ACCA or other relevant professional qualification preferred
  • Understanding of the industry and excise tax systems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in Budgeting & Forecasting for multiple business units
  • Good internal/external communicator being able to build strong relationships, influencing and presenting at a senior level
  • Advance excel skills with exposure to heavy use of ERP system. Microsoft D365 experience is a plus
  • Growth-focused mindset, with a passion for finding creative new ways to drive outperformance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong working relationships, influencing skills and motivating people and teams that are cross-functional and multi-level
  • Track record of success with organizational change and systemic culture shifts accompanied with internal stakeholder partnerships
  • Mobile and exposure in multinational and multilingual environment is a plus
