Job Description

This role ensures smooth and efficient Human Resources Department operations, through directly managing onboarding, off boarding and providing HR support services to Farah colleagues. This position also assists the HR Leadership teams and HRBPs to provide a one-stop-shop service for standard processes and enquiries related to onboarding, off boarding, visas, benefits, payroll and any other generic HR processes. The job holder is also responsible for colleagues’ employment data, benefits and general information updates in HRMS. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Maintain personnel records of colleagues’ including personal files and HRMS updates and ensure accuracy of data at all times related to managing Colleague arrivals, providing support and managing Colleague departures.
  • Assist the HR Leadership teams and HRBP’s in reviewing HR SOPs, policies, forms and reference documents with the aim to provide exceptional services to Colleagues.
  • Handles pension registration and terminations in coordination with PRO and payroll team.
  • Process colleagues’ benefits as per policy and entitlement including education claims and Housing Loan Application.
  • Manage colleague departures by facilitating exit documentations, visa cancellation procedures and final settlement calculations.
  • Support the delivery of colleague engagement activities being organized by the HR Department, or HR Business Partners.
  • Conduct internal transfer and promotion meetings as required, supporting leadership teams where required.
  • Deputizes for HR Services Manager or HRBP
  • Chairs periodic HR Services team meetings and ensures relevant communication is maintained within the team.
  • Coach and mentor team members to encourage personal development and career progression, identify and address knowledge gaps, upskill where necessary to ensure the highest levels of service and quality.
  • Manage the detail of all processes making improvements and efficiencies wherever possible.
  • Prepare various letters as requested by Colleagues or leadership teams
  • Provide support and information to HR Business Partners and other departments as required.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Degree or Diploma in HR or Business Management
  • 5 years HR generalist experience
  • Good Knowledge of UAE Labor Law
  • ERP experience required
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent computer skills to include MS Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of HRMS and Time & Attendance systems

Desirable

  • CIPD qualification
  • Proven track record of progression in various HR disciplines, Team Management and operational hospitality/leisure/guest service experience
  • Multiple language skills would be an advantage
  • Analytical skills
