Responsibilities

ā—Lead on project sourcing activities (identification, assessment and contracting) in local region and support existing projects with respect to carbon market.

ā—Ensure that sourcing flows and processes (including documentation and interaction with other teams) are in line with the company guidelines.

ā—Understand client needs, gather market intelligence and identify industry trends.

ā—Manage clientā€™s portfolio across the region

ā—Represent EKI as environmental market expert in client meetings, exhibitions and other corporate events and represent EKI Energy in different forums on environmental markets.

ā—Work closely with colleagues across the organization to empower matrixed teams that deliver on our vision of climate action for all.

ā—Manage budgeting and revenue of assigned region.

ā—Conduct research relevant to new project leads, project developers, project owners, relevant regulatory regimes/policies related to carbon projects

ā—Develop a list of potential clients in key industries defined within the teamā€™s mandate

Requirement

ā—Experience with 5+ years in similar role or the industry like Climate Change are considered as good fit.

ā—University degree in Environmental Sciences, or another relevant discipline. Degree in Business would be added advantage

ā—Experience in project identification and screening for potential leads

ā—Deep knowledge and expertise in environmental markets, especially in voluntary carbon markets.

ā— Knowledge of carbon products and markets, preferably including one or more of the following: CCER, CDM, GS, VCS etc

ā— Experience in scaling up a fast-growing organization in the context of a highly competitive market environment

ā— Fluent in local language and English

ā— Capacity to work independently
