About the job:

Responsibilities:

  • Administrating and controlling of the P&L and balance sheet, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Managing the ledger administration making sure all company administration is updated, accurate and timely recorded for tax purposes and payment obligations
  • Managing the AO/IC processes and making suggestions for improvements contributing profitability, scalability and efficiency
  • Setting up monthly finance reports and margin analyses and providing additional information on differentiators on budgets, revenue projections, cash projections and specific trends
  • Lead budget and forecast process
  • Monitors the bank balances and informs the Management about any shortages, large revenue or other special items that impact the liquidity of the company
  • Preparing payments, payroll and communicates with Management for sign off
  • Point of contact for external (international) parties for financial related matters
  • Assisting with companywide finance projects and initiatives as may be directed by the management team such as Due Diligence projects and value realization
  • Preparing and submitting the VAT returns quarterly, Issuing Invoices, PO, Credit Notes

Qualifications & skills:

  • Completed education at bachelor level in financial control, or accountancy (registered accountant)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position within an international company
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CMA/CPA) and UAE Excise and VAT laws
  • Good knowledge of Zoho Accounting and master in Excel
  • High attention to detail and an analytical mindset
  • Experience working in a dynamic work environment
  • Professional English language, spoken and written
  • Good communication skills, highly proactive, hands-on, a real team player who can also work independently.
