Job Description
The Event Sales Executive plans, organizes and ensures efficient operation for park hosted events. Moreover, he/she liaises with the operations, F&B and finance teams and ensure all the necessary information is provided to execute a seamless event and also transform each event from initial client query through to running of the actual event. The job scope also include;
- Receives leads from leisure and corporate team as well as from inbound calls from contact centre
- Qualify client enquiries and negotiates on event rates as per sales strategy.
- Accurately identify client needs.
- Oversee entire event; from initial enquiry to proposal and contracting and final running order of event.
- Handle all event inquiries and customer service until file completed.
- Liaise with operation managers, F&B team and finance team through scheduled SEO meetings and ad hoc communications as required.
- Conduct site inspections across all parks.
- Identify and act on opportunities to up-sell.
- Follow up on previously hosted events for potential repeat business.
- Generate and track all opportunities on CRM.
- Work weekend days when required
To be considered for this role, you will need to have;
- Higher Secondary or Bachelorās Degree in any field
- 2-3 years of work experience in/or within the hospitality/leisure industry
- Experience in Account Management and negotiation
- The ability and desire to sell
- Excellent communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good level of numeracy
- Fluency in Arabic and an additional language is an added advantage
