Finance Manager
Tradeling.com is a Dubai government funded startup, set up in September 2019 and is operated by Blink Technologies FZCO, headquartered at the Dubai Airport Free Zone, UAE. Tradeling.com is intended to become the dominant B2B marketplace for the MENA region by simplifying and enhancing digital B2B trade through a centralized, digital and safe procurement platform. It will offer value added services that will include finance and logistics. Launched in Q1 of 2020, with multiple categories ranging from office supplies, food and beverage, and health and wellness. Position Overview:
As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up.
Responsibilities:
ā Leading the monthly financial close process and ensuring compliance of local rules and regulations including handling of audits and inspections.
ā Experience of preparation of various Monthly and Quarterly Management reports, MIS, Budgets etc.
ā Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting for Business Operations.
ā Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
ā Work closely with the Business Team, Sales, Supply and Operations teams to ensure business goals with financial targets are achieved.
ā High levels of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities
ā Strong numerical ability coupled with sound reasoning and analytical skills
ā Must be able to set priorities, analyses problems and formalize clear effective solution
ā Collaborative style with strong interpersonal and stakeholder communication management skills
Requirements:
ā 8+ years experience preferably a couple of years in ecommerce.
ā Must possess an understanding of the eCommerce product lifecycle touch points, including logistics.
ā Big 4 background in both audit and transaction advisory services
ā Ability to prioritize and deliver projects in a fast-paced environment.
ā Enthusiastic, motivated, innovative, creative team player
ā Must have thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
