Responsibilities:
- Benchmark and study the latest automation and material handling trends across the globe and propose new automation solutions for both noon-core, grocery, bulky and dark stores
- Analyze Time motion study and manpower allocation to come up with cost saving initiatives that can be done via automation
- Conduct cost benefit analysis and budgeting for new automation requirements
- Liaise with vendors, facilities and tech team to monitor the progress of approved automation
- Ensure installation is done as per approved schedule and remove any roadblocks if needed
- Prepare the final facility AutoCAD layouts with automation solution proposed
- Post installation ensure the efficacy of the automation and conduct studies to ensure ROI achievement is on track
- Monitor metrics for automation and ensure uptime as per agreed terms and conditions
- To operate with a bias for action and have a deep understanding of the importance of resourcefulness over reliance.
Requirements
- BE/B.Tech or Masters in Technical field
- Prior experience in Automation/Robotics Industry
- Indepth knowledge of material handling is a plus
- Hands on experience in AUTOCAD
- Excellent communication skills
- Good with MS Office suite
- SQL proficiency will be an added advantage
- Target oriented and ability to roll up sleeves and get your hands dirty when you’re needed to
