GymNation, the UAE’s leading Gym Chain is looking for a Finance Executive to work closely with other GymNation Finance team members and be responsible for supporting the smooth running of our Finance Department.
Tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Complete monthly management accounts for that business
- Complete monthly closing entries relating to the business.
- Major task includes: –
- Booking of monthly Revenues
- Preparing and booking of monthly accruals
- Daily & Monthly payables recon and booking
- Monthly depreciation schedules for PPE
- Monthly IAS 17/IFRS 16 entries
- Monthly Bank Recon
- To chase suppliers to get timely and Tax invoices
- Monthly review of all the TBs for the business and making sure that all the necessary entries have been booked i.e., revenues, accruals, etc.
- Monthly reconciliation of inter-company balances
- Monthly reconciliation of accrual balances
- Review implementation and following of financial policies and DOA
- Monthly reporting packs
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 – 3 years of relevant experience
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of financial regulations
- Sharp time management skills
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
- BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Professional qualification, such as a ACCA is considered a plus
