Operations Manager | Desert Gate Tourism

A well-known and well-reputed Company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced, skilled, competent, mature, qualified, creative, and intelligent candidate with significant knowledge and relevant working experience for the position of “Operations Manager”.

• Responsible for the running of the entire logistics team
• Monitor all the Bookings of all airport services like Marhaba / Ahlan & Al Majlis.
• Check all statements from Marhaba & Ahlan before Accounts issue the payments.
• Checking the updates transfer rates on the system
• Checking the updates flight master on the internal system
• To ensure the allocation and arrangement of the arrival / departure schedule of all drivers and transfer suppliers, Filter arrival and departure lists, Handle and manage arrival irregularity reports
• Responsible and Preparation of the monthly duty roster for the ops team, keep a track of day offs & Public holidays. Also schedule Vacation dates
• Liaise and coordination with with internal and external stakeholders
• Handling complaints and review, investigate, check, and respond to all transfer complaints.
• Responsible for all operational developments
• Responsible for training junior staff
• Supervise and manage the drivers
• Approve along with the COO all expenses related to fleet and the suppliers statement

Requirements

• University degree or commercial education
• Knowledge of working in the UAE
• Experience in a similar role and sector will be highly advantageous
• 3-5 years experience in a similar position
• Good command of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred
• Experience in international environment an advantage
• Service-oriented, resilient, hands-on personality
• Strong Communication Skills
• Independent work style but team player
• Can start immediately
