Deluxe Holiday Homes is looking for a General Technician with valid UAE Driving License and minimum of 2-years experience in Dubai to manage our luxury private properties.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct all sort of fixes, repairs, replacements including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, pool, air conditioner and other related (such as repairs or replaces electrical switches, receptacles, fuses, small light fixtures, and vacuum outlets, adjusts thermostats to maintain desired temperature, hangs pictures, bulletin boards, cabinets. do painting and other miscellaneous work, replace light bulbs/batteries/shattaf sprays, change or clean AC filters, resolve TV and Internet related issues, fix broken beds, chairs, tables, connect and hang chandeliers, wall lamps, fix, replace or repair door locks, etc.)
- Responsible for completing basic maintenance work orders as assigned at company managed rental properties or offices.
- Report work performed, time spent, parts used and next steps needed if necessary.
- Responsible for keeping maintenance tools, used vehicle and properties clean, organized and in safe condition while conducting any operation.
- Maintain and keep log of own inventory. Report all expenses and consumed materials on the superior in proper manner.
- Prepare or assist in preparing properties to a ready-for-occupancy condition, prepare inspection report when required.
- Report work performed, time spent, parts used and next steps needed if necessary.
- Responsible for keeping maintenance tools, used vehicle and properties clean, organized and in safe condition while conducting any operation.
- Maintain and update supply inventory. Safeguard all supplies, equipment and tools.
- Perform other job duties including but not limited to office and interior home maintenance or other property management functions as needed and requested by supervisor
- Represents Deluxe Holiday Homes in a professional manner at all times.
- During emergency to immediately attend to the required property/place (can occur on Friday or during night-time) in order to help prevent the emergency and provide temporary solution (such as water leakage, etc.).
- Conduct any other tasks as assigned by management.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a general technician;
- Experience with tools and electrical equipment;
- Experience in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or HVAC systems;
- Basic math skills;
- Good communication ability;
- Well-organized and apt in problem-solving;
- Attention to detail;
- Must be able to do maintenance-related painting and masonry works;
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Fluency in English
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in a UAE
- Have valid driver license
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Physically strong and ready to constantly work outdoor
