A well-known and well-reputed Company based in Ras al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced, skilled, competent, mature, qualified, creative, and intelligent candidate with significant knowledge and relevant working experience for the position of  “Logistics In-Charge”.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably MBA International Business / Diploma in Export-Import Management / Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 8 years and above experience

Responsibility:

Logistics:

  • Effectively manage Air & Sea Exports
  • Effectively manage Air & Sea Imports
  • Effectively manage all Couriers
  • In charge of cross trade
  • In charge of all documentation & follow-ups with the Ministry of Economy
  • Inter-company coordination of Import & Export

Transport:

  • Effectively manage all Domestic & GCC Transportation
  • Effectively manage/schedule the Powerbar Fleet
  • In charge of Powerbar Fleet Maintenance
  • Documentation & follow up of PWD Toll Charges recovery
  • Ensure that your subordinates adhere to the H&S policy and guidelines of the company.
  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
  • Arrange warehouse, goods, plan routes, and process shipments
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints
  • Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
  • Hazard identification and risk assessment
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Identify resolve internal & external issues related to logistics
  • Effectively manage the deployment of resources within the finished goods & packaging area.
  • Ensure that your subordinates adhere to the H&S policy and guidelines of the company.
  • Effectively manage the logistics requirements of the company – both domestic & international.

  • Educate members in Health & Safety culture.
  • To conduct an investigation regarding incidents encountered.

  • Conduct regular toolbox talks to members regarding OHS issues.
  • Coordinate with safety officer regarding all H&S Issues.
