Greenstone’s Regulatory Compliance Program
In addition to the placement engagements that Greenstone undertakes to raise capital for specific funds, Greenstone also provides a Regulatory Compliance Program (RCP) option for fund managers to conduct regulatory-compliant marketing for all of their funds. This distinct type of partnership opportunity offers Greenstone fund manager partners a way to more directly market all their funds in the GCC while remaining fully compliant with local marketing regulations.
A Greenstone regulatory compliance program engagement enables fund managers to leverage Greenstone’s regulatory compliant infrastructure throughout the GCC so that fund manager partners may market funds in accordance with local regulations in each country. When appropriate, it allows fund manager partners to register their funds and leverage Greenstone registered professionals to participate in marketing activities and meetings between the fund manager and GCC-based investors.
Regulatory Compliance Program (RCP) Account Manager
The RCP Account Manager is responsible for closely supporting Greenstone’s fund manager partners to successfully execute RCP engagements.
The RCP Account Manager regularly interacts with Greenstone’s fund manager partners around the world. Our professionals must have the presence, professionalism, and communication abilities required to interact productively with Partners, C-suite executives, and key members of these firms.
RCP Account Managers are responsible for the successful end-to-end operational delivery of Greenstone’s RCP engagements. Professionals must build up a fundamental understanding of the logistics related to raising capital for private placement offerings and become fluent in the regulatory requirements of the GCC countries.
Successful candidates must be highly organized, excellent communicators (both internal and client-facing), customer success-focused, and influential self-starters who can multi-task and switch easily between multiple projects.
Reporting Relationship
The position reports to the Vice President of Partner Relations (Regulatory Compliance).
Location
Dubai, UAE, at Greenstone’s corporate headquarters.
Responsibilities
TAKE COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MANAGING NUMEROUS RCP ENGAGEMENTS
- Upon the signing of a RCP mandate agreement, lead the kickoff of the engagement and multiple workstreams to ensure the initial and continued success of the engagement for Greenstone’s fund manager partner.
- Facilitate and program manage all communication and tasks between the fund manager partner and Greenstone’s internal staff.
- Plan and coordinate the scheduling of conference calls and in-person meetings which must be attended by Greenstone’s registered professionals to ensure the appropriate regulatory coverage.
- Assist Greenstone’s Compliance team as necessary to fulfill on the requirements of the engagement.
PROPERLY DOCUMENT RCP ACTIVITIES
- Update and maintain various proprietary and third-party CRM systems to accurately record every activity and the status of each RCP account in the Partner Relations pipeline.
ASSIST THE MARKETING OF GREENSTONE’S REGULATORY COMPLIANCE PROGRAM
- Participate in projects and industry programs to create demand for the Greenstone’s services, including, but not limited to, industry awards, league tables, industry conferences, events, and other projects/programs as identified from time to time.
- Leverage platforms such as Preqin, Pitchbook, and others, to maximize Greenstone’s opportunities in the marketplace.
- Assist with webinars, marketing material, and other ad hoc projects when required.
REMAIN FULLY COMPLIANT IN ALL ACTIVITIES (AS REQUIRED IN A REGULATED FIRM)
- Strictly adhere to Greenstone’s regulatory compliance policies in the performance of all activities.
- Attend regular compliance updates and ongoing compliance training as provided by Greenstone. Update processes and practices as necessary to ensure full compliance.
OTHER
- Complete other projects and participate in other departmental programs, as assigned.
