World Security is hiring HR Shift Manager – EXPO 2020 Dubai whose primary responsibility would be to provide direction and leadership to ensure high standards of operational efficiency and quality, customer satisfaction and employee engagement and development. It’s a temporary 6 month contract.
Job Description:
- Lead and drive operational initiatives, continuous improvement and change management whilst sustaining a culture of excellence
- Build relationships with key stakeholders whilst monitoring the outcomes of internal processes to our end customers to enhance the Pavilion’s overall delivery of services
- Ensure sufficient handling of the complaint’s management process
- Implement effective and creative team communication strategies, provide routine feedback and spot talks with the guest services team, communicate internally all issues affecting the Pavilion operation and regularly liaise with senior management and directors throughout the operations, and deal with their queries quickly and effectively
- Arrive at the pavilion before the host’s team members in the morning and ensure the appropriate Opening and closing of the pavilion
- Ensure the Team is adequately trained to the highest standards and constantly develop them to achieve their full potential
- Develop and deliver a system for guest feedback, and manage the output
- Ensure all members of the team are meeting the agreed key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within the guest services and admissions areas
- Ensure all staff strictly follows Pavilion uniform guidelines. Participate in constantly improving and developing the Pavilion presentation standards and take initiative to improve the standards wherever possible
- Ensure that all offices and VIP facilities are clean and hosts team members are in position 10 minutes prior to opening time
- Brief hosts team members about any special activities or visitors
- Supervise team members during the day and attend to emergencies
- Assist with special or protocol events, events manager when required
- Track hours of work of hosts team members
Required Criteria:
5 years experience and 3 years in a supervisory role as HR Professional in Customer Service or Hospitality or Events
Fluency in English and/or Spanish/Arabic/French
Hands-on operational management experience within a leisure environment.
