Safety Engineer – RTA approved (Infrastructure Experienced)
Description
We are looking for a Safety Engineer with infrastructure project (wet and dry utilities, including Road works) experience for our on-going projects. You will be working as part of a team involved multiple projects in United Arab Emirates.
Responsibilities
· Establish and manage an effective HSE system in accordance with the existing rules and regulations of governmental authorities.
· Monitor day to day HSE related activities / logs and take corrective measures to ensure compliance.
· Escalate any matters of serious concerns to the next level management on a timely manner to the Senior Management.
· Ensure required training for all employees, developing and delivering safety and compliance processes, procedures, and campaigns.
· Ensure safe operations and minimize risks involved with personnel, property, and equipment.
· Maintain safety standards in accordance with the OHSMS.
· Conduct regular HSE Audit and submit reports to Project Manager.
· Ability to work with the team and independently manage the assigned task.
· Perform safety risk assessments and prepare reports for implementation.
· Act as a single point of contact on HSE related matters in front of all stake holders.
· Prepare statutory report and liaise with Governmental authorities, Consultant and Clients, with respect to safety related matters.
Qualifications
· Civil Engineering degree with minimum of 5 years’ experience in the utility sector.
· Holding Dubai RTA Approval.
