We are now looking for a Technology Development Manager to take the lead on learning technologies for one of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the learning within their organization to motivate and engage learners with 21st-century solutions.

About The Role
You will work closely with the Programme Training Manager to develop learning plans and using your knowledge and experience, introduce technology solutions to enhance the learning experience.
Additionally, Youāll
- Analyze, review and recommend learning technologies to drive enhancements in learning, development, and delivery solutions and facilitate demonstrations and presentations.
- Work with external suppliers, contractors, SMEs, and associates to scope out solutions to support the training requirements.
- Manage risk to ensure long and short-term resource plans are always in place to deliver projects commissioned and that contingencies are in place for projected requirements.
- Work with the GM Training Center management team to ensure work is managed through the project management governance and that all global and GM processes are adhered to.
- Provide clear monthly reports on project performance, resources, budgets, and other financials and weekly updates to the management team.
- Ensure the quality of Learning projects meet the Clientās and GP Strategiesā standards
- Prioritizing, planning, and production of project plans, monitoring progress, and highlighting potential risks.
- Day to day coordination and management of IT systems (equipment, software), multimedia, and e-learning activities to ensure high-quality delivery.
- E-Learning includes Virtual Class Room, Video on Demand, Web-Based Training, gamification, augmented / virtual applications, and LMS readiness.
- Effective management of team members.
- Management of Training Center projects and technology activities.
- Oversee and manage the IT services & technology-related budget, and assets.
- Coordinate and manage all virtual skills competitions and events.
What We Need
An experienced project/program manager with knowledge and understanding of a variety of technologies to support the training function with the vision to take training technology to a higher level.
As this is a UAE-based client, itās essential that you can be flexible to adapt their working pattern of Sunday ā Thursday.
Additionally, Weāll Need
- Experience in multimedia, videography, and e-learning technology, such as animated videos, Web-Based Training, Augmented and Virtual Reality, gamification, and video production.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to produce contracts, project planners, briefs, and manage third parties.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to deliver effective presentations and manage relationships at a senior level.
- Knowledge of information technology with the ability to provide guidance regarding technology selection and application.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work within tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Teams required.
Ideally, Youāll Also Have
- Working experience in IT administration.
- Experience in development and management of Applications, Web-Based Training, and video production.
