The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and cost estimation.

Responsibilities
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Update accounts payable and performs reconciliations
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
- Hands-on UAE VAT implementation experience (Input VAT & Output VAT)
- Review and check expenses, payroll calculation/records
- Update financial data in the database to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Preparation monthly/yearly closings
- Follow up payments from clients
- Perform admin and clerical works
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or bachelor’s of commerce or related field
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- 2-4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred. knowledge in Tally, Focus will be an added advantage
