Technical Security Manager (Engineer) – OPSEC
- Oversee all technical security architecture, operations, system designs, installation, and maintenance, ensuring robust security infrastructure and operational continuity.
- Strategic Planning and Policy Development: Develop and implement strategic technical security plans, designs, policies, and procedures to align with organizational security objectives and mitigate risks effectively.
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with technical security standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a secure and compliant environment.
- Manage and mentor technical security team members, providing leadership, guidance, and support to foster a high-performing and cohesive team environment.
- Technical Assessments and Troubleshooting: Lead technical assessments and troubleshooting of security system issues, leveraging expertise to resolve complex technical challenges promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments and external vendors for security projects, ensuring coordinated efforts and optimal resource utilization.
- Prepare and manage the departmental budget for technical security operations, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Monitor and plan the life cycle of technical security equipment, including maintenance planning, software subscription planning, and upgrades to optimize system performance and longevity.
- Prepare and present comprehensive technical reports to senior management, providing insights into technical security performance, incidents, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead the technical response to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact on operations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in security technologies, evaluating their applicability and integrating them into the organization’s security framework to enhance capabilities.
- Manage technical security projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, budget constraints, and timelines.
Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in technical security, with a focus on leadership and system architecture and management
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Certification in security systems such as ASIS APP, Network, Firewalls, Access Control System (ACS), CCTV, PSIM software, IRM, etc.

- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- In-depth technical knowledge of security systems and design apps (CAD).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Project management experience.
- Attention to detail and proactive approach.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Effective handling of crisis situations.
- Perfect situational awareness.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic desirable, and additional languages are asset.
