This vital role within our Finance team provides an exciting opportunity to leverage your extensive tax expertise in the GCC and international tax landscape. Based in Dubai, you will report to the GCC Tax Director and play a key role in ensuring L’Oréal’s robust tax compliance and strategic tax planning across the region.

A Day In The Life:

  • Manage and support the preparation of annual corporate income tax returns, VAT returns, and economic substance reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee the preparation of transfer pricing documentation, collaborating closely with external advisors and the Tax Director.
  • Implement and maintain robust tax compliance processes across all GCC countries, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
  • Provide timely and effective tax reporting to internal stakeholders, including senior management and the Group Tax department.
  • Closely monitor changes in tax legislation across the GCC region, proactively identifying potential impacts on the business and advising on mitigation strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize tax positions and mitigate tax risks, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
  • Manage and respond effectively to tax audits conducted by the relevant tax authorities.
  • Support the implementation of relevant tax updates and training for finance, accounting, internal control, and other departments as needed.
  • Foster strong working relationships with colleagues across various functions (accounting, controlling, legal, IT, etc.) and within the broader tax community.

We Are Looking For:

  • Extensive knowledge of GCC and international tax legislation, including direct tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing.
  • Proven experience in managing complex tax compliance matters and tax audits.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
