We are a diversified Main Contractor hiring a Sr. Accountant
Job Functions:
- Manage and lead the accounts team to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Implement and monitor compliance with government regulations regarding taxation.
- Assist in finalizing account books and ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare and understand Management Information System (MIS) reporting.
- Oversee cash flow management to maintain financial health.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) aging.
- Liaise with auditors and facilitate the audit process.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a senior accounting position in a construction company.
- Background in the contracting or construction industry, or experience in a managerial role within audit.
- Strong understanding of VAT and corporate tax compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
