Senior Tax Analyst

Overview

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UAE VAT and must possess hands-on experience, preferably within a consultancy or advisory firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee VAT compliance and advisory engagements for clients across various sectors.
• Review VAT returns, tax computations, and ensure timely filings with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
• Provide expert guidance on VAT implications for business transactions and restructuring.
• Handle FTA audits, tax clarifications, and other communications on behalf of clients.
• Stay updated on UAE tax laws, regulations, and FTA announcements.
• Assist clients in VAT registrations, de-registrations, voluntary disclosures, and amendments.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering value-added tax solutions.
• Mentor and support junior team members in tax-related assignments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in UAE VAT, preferably within a consultancy or professional services firm.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and FTA regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and deliver within deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software tools.
• Professional certifications such as CTA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
