Overview
What You’ll Be Doing: As the Senior Manager of International FP&A for Orveon, reporting directly to the Executive Director of Global FP&A Go-to-Market, you will serve as a strategic partner to the International Commercial team, responsible for markets outside North America. Your role will combine robust business partnering, commercial financial support, and providing detailed, actionable financial insights.
You will oversee the development and management of budgets, forecasts, and 3-year strategic business plans in collaboration with local business partners within the international perimeter. In this capacity, you’ll focus on identifying opportunities and efficiencies to drive business profitability. Additionally, you’ll monitor the P&L and financial performance of the Joint Business Plans (JBPs) established with local partners, providing insightful analyses of performance compared to budget and prior years, and making recommendations to improve business outcomes.
As the Orveon organization and business structure evolve, you will need to work closely with the International Commercial Team and other business function leaders to support the business transformation efforts. You will also collaborate with the Executive Director of Global Supply Chain FP&A and the broader FP&A team, ensuring alignment and supporting the development of cohesive financial strategies.
You Responsibilities Will Be The Following:
- Work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, International and the international commercial teams to actively drive the business by monitoring performance, providing key insights and helping plan International strategy.
- Own international management reporting for Orveon, which will need to be accurate, timely, and actionable.
- Use financial insight and data to continually challenge and improve all areas of the business.
- Develop a business mindset and act as a sounding board and key advisor to the Chief Revenue Officer International.
- Own and develop regular forecasts that accurately predict performance based on trends and drivers.
- Identify issues impacting delivery of the forecast, across all aspects of the P&L, and work with the business to identify mitigation plans.
- Own the budget process and work closely with the Head of FP&A to ensure that all timetables are understood and adhered to
- Work with the Head of FP&A to set the agenda for weekly and monthly reviews across the business.
- Work with both the CFO and the Chief Revenue Officer International to define and develop appropriate Financial KPIs for the business.
- Be responsible for the International Financial Reporting System.
- Develop processes to ensure that these KPIs can be accurately calculated, collated, and then used to drive business performance.
- Own and develop regular forecasts that accurately predict performance based on trends and drivers.
- Own and develop JBP KPIs monthly tracking systems.
- Identify issues impacting delivery of the forecast, across all aspects of the P&L, and work with the business to identify mitigation plans.
- Own the budget process for his/her brands and will work closely with the Global
- Partner to ensure that all timetables are understood and adhered to.
- Weekly and monthly reviews across their business, by market, sub-clusters and geographies.
- Support to define and develop appropriate KPIs for the business.
- Work closely with the business in commercial negotiation whether that be for contract renewal, new doors or customer profitability.
- Develop commercial solutions and thoroughly evaluate the financial impact of promotional activity.
- Provide critical, high quality commercially focused financial advice.
What You’ll Need To Succeed:
- You bring 5 to 7 years of managerial experience in fast-paced consumer goods or retail environments, with a preference for expertise in makeup and skincare.
- You have a strong background in leading commercial strategic planning and forecasting processes, working within matrix organizations and/or with distributors, and managing diverse go-to-market business models, including direct sales, e-commerce, retail, and distributor channels.
- Your proven ability to collaborate across multiple business functions is complemented by exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- You demonstrate strong financial modeling capabilities, particularly in developing mid- and long-term financial models.
- You thrive in a multi-geography environment, displaying flexibility and adaptability to work effectively across different time zones.
