About the job
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide financial guidance, analysis and support to allocated business operations with the aim of improving profitability, financial control and achievement of business strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Monitor and measure manpower costs and administration expenses for allocated business units in relation to revenue generated, to drive cost efficiencies.
- Monitor and manage financial governance across all corporate and hospital functional areas.
- Support allocated business units with physician productivity analysis, PLP and ID fee reviews, calculations and performance efficiencies.
- Support allocated business units with management account preparation, analysis and improvement initiatives.
- Support allocated business units with relevant feasibility studies aimed at business growth and sustainability.
- Coordinate and prepare annual budgets and forecasting for allocated business units.
- Support business units with relevant inventory management and consumption KPI analysis and controls.
- Support business units with Capital expenditure analysis, monitoring and reporting.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Essential:
A relevant bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
Desired: Chartered Accountant: CA(SA), ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Essential: 3-5 Years management experience in a financial environment.
Desired: 5-10 Years management experience in a financial healthcare environment.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Conflict management skills.
- Financial acumen and industry awareness.
- Hospital operations in the UAE.
- Medical terminology and procedures.
- Skilled in leading and managing complex negotiations with relevant stakeholders.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic will be an advantage).
