Overview
SR. ACCOUNTANT – AR
Responsibilities:
- Generating rebate credit notes and account statements.
- Performing account reconciliations and aging reports.
- Follow up with sales team and customers to ensure prompt collection of funds and develop new or better repayment terms.
- Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
- Review Credit Limit, Credit Terms and monitor customer movement on regular basis.
- Preparing monthly financial and management reports, assisting in general financial management and analysis.
- Obtaining information from sales & marketing team to ensure records are accurate and complete.
- Confirm that the accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up- to-date.
- Bank Reconciliation (Cash, Cheque, Bank transfers) and passing Journal Entries for necessary accounts.
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries of sales team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting.
- At least 5 year’s experience in a similar role in FMCG- Food distribution company.
- Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software.
- Experience in JDE is an added advantage.
