SR. ACCOUNTANT – AR

Responsibilities:

  • Generating rebate credit notes and account statements.
  • Performing account reconciliations and aging reports.
  • Follow up with sales team and customers to ensure prompt collection of funds and develop new or better repayment terms.
  • Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
  • Review Credit Limit, Credit Terms and monitor customer movement on regular basis.
  • Preparing monthly financial and management reports, assisting in general financial management and analysis.
  • Obtaining information from sales & marketing team to ensure records are accurate and complete.
  • Confirm that the accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up- to-date.
  • Bank Reconciliation (Cash, Cheque, Bank transfers) and passing Journal Entries for necessary accounts.
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries of sales team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting.
  • At least 5 year’s experience in a similar role in FMCG- Food distribution company.
  • Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software.
  • Experience in JDE is an added advantage.
