About the job
The purpose of this position is to ensure proper recording of all business transactions in allotted areas in General Ledger and perform related tasks to ensure accurate closing of books on monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely closure of all subsidiary companies, sub modules, transfer and post all data to General Ledger.
- Conduct AP, AR, FA, INV & Payroll reconciliations with the GL and initiate appropriate corrective actions where necessary.
- Pass all the month end closing entries related to GL managed accounts (TRA fees, Recurring Lease Charges, Accruals, etc).
- Check and reconcile the payroll and ensure that all the calculation have been made according to the company’s policies.
- Handle the calculation of monthly pension and ensure payment to the authorities.
- Pass all payroll related entries, reconcile all payroll related accounts and follow up any differences to resolution.
- Prepare monthly financial statements pack (balance sheet, Income statement, cash flow statement and other agreed analytics) and present the same to the GL Manager and Senior Manager Group Financial Reporting for review onward management approvals and closure.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
- 4-6 years of experience in Accounts out of which 2 years in General ledger.
- Group consolidation experience desirable.
- Experience in similar large industry and transaction volumes.
