Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant at American Specialty. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, including preparing and analyzing financial reports, managing budgets, conducting audits, manage treasury functions and maintain strong banking relationships, coordinate with the sales team to align financial strategies with business objectives, oversee accounts receivable and payables, prepare weekly cash forecast and ensure VAT and tax compliance, managing filings and regulatory requirements. This role will play a key part in financial decision-making and strategic planning for the company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Qualifications

  • Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Auditing skills
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in food distribution business.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CA, ACCA or relevant certification is preferred
