Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role involves overseeing financial activities, preparing reports, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Accountant will contribute to accurate financial reporting and strategic decision-making to support the organizationā€™s growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Oversee tax filings, compliance with UAE tax regulations, and timely submissions.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and audit procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
  • Ensure seamless ERP and financial software system integration and management.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Effective time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven ability in team leadership and management.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong grasp of internal controls and audit procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorā€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (CA, CMA) are essential.
  • At least 3 years of UAE experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Industry experience in consulting preferred, handling multiple clients
  • Proven success in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with ERP implementations is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with a consistent ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to dynamic business environments and process improvements.
