Senior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties for a Leading Perfume Company in UAE.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Bank Status & Cash Flow Report
• Prepare cheque payment request, issuance of the same after approved and signed by the owners, entry in the system for payables and collecting it after clearance.
• Handle General payments request for the company.
• Handle supplier payments for the company.
• Coordinate with banks for various kind of queries e.g. Opening new accounts, letters, approvals as and when required.
• Keep track of PDC (outstanding cheqs.)
• Handling head office petty cash and recording petty cash expenses on daily basis.
• Preparing payment Vouchers for cash / Cheque payments & others.
• Manage and record utility payments for the company.
• Prepare and process payroll payment for the company.
• Handles all payables and expenses entries.
• Bank reconciliation
• In charge of updating staff loans ledgers.
• In charge of email correspondence to Malls & Suppliers.
• In Charge of preparing all documents related to loans (company & owner’s personal)
• Filing Vat Return quarterly and process payment.
• Maintain fixed assets register
• Preparation of monthly information packs for the managements, Cash flow, Income Statement, Balance sheet & Bank reconciliation Statements, Inventory sheet
• Coordinating with staff in terms of their loan queries and receivables.
• Provide support to shops in managing their reports
• Cheque Deposits
• Collate, Analyze and present company performance details monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annually.
• Performs other related tasks as required.
• Perform any other task as assigned by direct manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Tally accounting software.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
