Senior Accountant

Motivate Media Group is looking for a finance professional Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a qualified professional, preferably CA/ CWA / ACCA / CPA or MBA Finance with strong expertise in payable function, PPE Accounting, Treasury and Banking operations, VAT/WHT compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts payable functions.
• Manage treasury operations, cash forecast and liaising with banks.
• Essure correct accounting of VAT and Withholding Tax.
• Managing PPE accounting and cost accruals (G&A).
• Managing related party invoice accounting, transfer pricing and reconciliation
• Assist in G&A budgeting, forecasting, analysis/reporting.
• Prepare monthly VAT and WHT reports for filing.
• Processing of purchase orders.
• Support the team with audit requirements during internal /statutory and tax Audits.

Requirements:

• Professional qualification preferred CA, CWA, ACCA, CPA or MBA Finance.
• 5 -8 years’ experience in accounts payable and general accounting, VAT/WHT compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Proficiency in SAP will be preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in English Language.
