Overview
As a Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in driving profitable and sustainable growth of the business within optical shops in your assigned region within the UAE. You will actively engage with customers, promoting our products and building strong relationships to achieve sales targets. Your role will involve collaborating closely with trade/marketing, credit, and after-sales departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives. Additionally, you will contribute to the internal processes of forecasting and budgeting to optimize sales performance and resource allocation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Visit optical stores regularly to establish and maintain strong relationships with owners and staff.
- Present and discuss our products, highlighting features, benefits, and pricing to drive sales.
- Effectively communicate the pricing structure and assist owners in understanding the value proposition of our products.
- Conduct training sessions for store staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies to enhance overall sales performance.
- Gather and report on competitor activities and market trends to inform sales strategies.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs through effective territory management and strategic planning.
- Collect feedback from customers to relay to the management team for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and training sessions in CRM software.
Main Requirements:
- Previous sales experience, preferably in ophthalmic products or a related field.
- Basic understanding of ophthalmic lenses and the optical market is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Degree in Business, MBA is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Positive Attitude and willingness to learn.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
Language Requirements:
- English Fluent in speaking and writing.
- Arabic is an advantage.
