Overview of the Role:
The Spare Parts Sales Representative will be responsible for driving incremental sales of spare parts with existing customers and developing new customers within the assigned area. This role involves on-site visits, prospecting, quoting, closing sales, and following up with customers to build long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will also contribute to the growth of the Aftermarket business by bringing value-added solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service.
What You Will Do:
- Drive spare parts sales with current customers and develop new customers in your assigned area.
- Conduct on-site visits, prospect for new business, provide quotes, and close sales.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships through technical knowledge and customer-focused solutions.
- Achieve parts sales and profitability targets while adhering to the business plan.
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure excellent customer experience by resolving complaints and exceeding customer expectations.
- Continuously search for new customers and expand the reach of parts sales within the assigned area.
- Analyze parts business potential and penetration within the assigned customer base.
- Gather and report market intelligence, including customer feedback and trends in aftermarket products.
- Propose new parts offerings to meet customer needs and market demands.
- Ensure monthly overdue targets are met and not exceeded.
Required Skills to Be Successful:
- Degree, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in parts sales or workshop experience, preferably in the earthmoving or heavy machinery industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of earthmoving machines and aftermarket parts.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong business relationships.
- Strong sales skills, including the ability to sell opportunities, ideas, and concepts.
- Proficient negotiation and closing skills.
- Commercially minded with a good understanding of business operations.
- Ability to deal professionally with customers, middle and senior management, and operators/technicians.
- Strong self-planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- Presentable and capable of promoting the company to customers.
- Strong computer skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
