Revenue Accountant

Job Overview:

fäm Properties is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing revenue recognition, monitoring transactions, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. This role requires strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of revenue accounting within a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, reconcile, and record revenue transactions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS and company policies
• Prepare and review revenue reports and financial statements to identify discrepancies or trends
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to verify the accuracy of invoicing and revenue data
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to revenue accounting
• Maintain proper documentation for all revenue-related entries and audits
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and analysis
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline revenue tracking and reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with a focus on revenue accounting
• Knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
• Experience with accounting software (Odoo or ERP systems)
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience in real estate.
