Position Code: PRA-RJ
Job Purpose
To assist the accounting department to calculate/review employee related entitlements including salary, benefits and relevant deductions for all types of employees (Daily rate, rotational, annual) as per Company Policies and Procedures and relevant UAE laws.
Payroll Accountant will process payroll and other employee related payments through online banking system, maintains full records of all payments and posts/reconciles them in the payroll system and accounting system, updating all accounting records in a timely manner and providing payroll related services to employees.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or related post graduate course.
• Minimum 3 4 years experience in a similar role with Financial Reporting and general accounting experience.
• Preferably CIMA/CMA/ACCA/CA/CPA certified.
• Familiarity with the UAE Employment Law with full time and rotational payroll experience.
• Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software.
• Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• High level of accuracy, efficiency, accountability and sound technical skills.
• Attention to detail and data entry skills.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
