About the Role:

The UAE National Orchestra (UAENO) seeks an innovative Marketing and Communications Director to spearhead our strategic marketing and communication efforts. As the Marketing and Communications Director, you will lead the orchestra’s marketing, communications, and public relations initiatives. You will craft and implement strategies to increase audience engagement, enhance brand visibility, and foster strong community ties. This role demands creativity, strategic thinking, and a passion for the arts, ensuring UAENO’s mission resonates widely.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing & Brand Management: Develop integrated marketing strategies to support artistic and community objectives, enhancing UAENO’s brand identity across all platforms.
Communications & PR: Oversee media relations, public announcements, and crisis communication plans to maintain UAENO’s esteemed public image.
Content Creation & Campaigns: Lead content development for digital and print channels, ensuring alignment with UAENO’s artistic vision and events.
Community Engagement & Partnerships: Foster partnerships and outreach programs to diversify and grow UAENO’s audience base.
Team Leadership & Management: Guide and mentor a dynamic team, manage budgets, and track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives through KPIs.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth: Support the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve ticket revenue targets, maximize sponsorships, and enhance donor engagement. Collaborate closely with the Sales, Sponsorship, Partnership, and Funding teams to ensure marketing and communication efforts are aligned with UAENO’s broader initiatives, enhancing visibility and engagement across all revenue-generating activities.
What We are Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. MBA or a Master of Communication is preferred.
Experience: 10-12 years in marketing and communication leadership role, at least 5 years’ experience in a role leading the Marketing and Communication function, preferably within the arts or nonprofit sectors. Proven record of accomplishment in leading marketing departments, budget management, and building strategic partnerships.
Skills: Strong expertise in digital marketing, media relations, and audience engagement. Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Bonus: Experience in the UAE cultural or musical industry and proficiency in Arabic.
