Position: Manager Financial Planning & Analysis
Location: Agthia Abu Dhabi, UAE
Purpose: Senior Manager FP&A is responsible for providing support to the business via robust and consistent financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. He/she will provide operational and strategic support during budget preparation and work closely with senior management in developing & implementing financial strategies that support the company’s overall business objectives. Ongoing financial analysis is critical for internal reporting, as well as providing insights and recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis and Decision Support:

  • Lead monthly reporting, KPI insights, and action planning across the business. Present a clear understanding of business drivers and collaborate across the business to drive actions.
  • Analyze and track what impact certain business decisions will have on a company’s margin i.e. vol/mix analysis, gross to net analysis, opex analysis, and revenue maximization.
  • Interact with various departments within the organization to identify areas where more value can be added.
  • Ad hoc reviews to support the leadership team.

Strategic & budget planning:

  • Work closely with the leadership team to formulate the business’ medium to long-term financial and strategic plan
  • Coordinate and develop an annual budget, latest forecast, and strategic plan across all BUs. Partner with BU teams to develop overall business strategy and financial expectations during all planning cycles.
  • Develop financial models, budgets, and forecasts which help the management team to make informed decisions and develop strategic plans
  • Develop a collaborative forecast process across all BUs & functions and provide a rolling view of risks & opportunities. Ensure the forecast process links to the full P&L valuation.

Financial Operations and Strategic Initiatives:

  • Identify areas for improvement by advocating for automation and standardization to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in the development of FP&A tools i.e. automation of systems, reports, and dashboards.

Collaboration and continuous improvement:

  • Actively participate in problem-solving initiatives to determine root cause, gap analysis, and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with the implementation of business decisions on an operational level
  • Lead development and training initiatives for broader finance teams.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related.
  • CA / ACMA / ACCA or Equivalent.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in equivalent Management level.
  • Experience with the FMCG Industry is a must.

Functional Knowledge:

  • Superior financial analysis and financial modeling skills.
  • Fluency in MS Office and experience working with recognized ERP.
  • Understanding of Accounting practices.
