About the job
Oversee the day-to-day activities of the General Ledger team, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, and supporting the organization’s overall financial integrity. The role involves managing a team of accountants, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- GL monitoring (Provisions, prepayments.)
- Month-End and Year-End close:
- Trade Finance (LCs, LGs.)
- Local & Overseas Intercompany Transactions
- Fixed Assets Management
- Intercompany reconciliation process management
- Inventory counts when necessary
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, CGMA or relevant professional certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in leading a team is a plus
