Junior Financial Analyst Job in Al Masaood Dubai

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in gathering financial data and preparing monthly management reports.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information in reports.
  • Analyze financial results and provide insights to senior management.
  • Work closely with the Accounts Department to reconcile monthly trial balances.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to reconciliations.
  • Partner with the IT team to assist in the implementation of new finance projects and systems.
  • Provide financial expertise and insights during project planning and execution.
  • Test and validate financial data integrity in new systems or enhancements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Assist in developing financial models and scenario analysis.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and presentations as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Participate in audits and provide necessary support.

Deliverables/Self-Management Responsibilities:

  • Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the Line Manager and Development Manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the year.
  • Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.
  • Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.

Background & Experience (years):

  • 02 to 03 years of experience as an Accountant or a Financial Analyst role
  • Professional certification: (e.g., CFA Level 1, CPA) or progress towards certification is a plus.
  • Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting.
  • Excellent in Data Analytics tools such as Power BI
  • Proficient in MS Excel, VBA codes.
