Overview
Scope
The HR Business Partner provides professional advice and support to all employees, managers and leaders of the business on all aspects of people management. HRBP works closely with the business to deliver a range of HR services including capability building, talent management, coaching, counselling and employee case management.
Responsibilities
Financial:
- Support the Payroll team to ensure the smooth running of the monthly HQ payroll. Provide monthly payroll inputs. I.e., salary adjustments, benefits additions and deductions.
- Provides guidance and input on workforce planning, business unit restructures, and succession planning and all core HR activities ensuring that core HR processes are applied appropriately and in a legally compliant manner.
- Responsible for contributing to Management Reporting, the collation of data for assigned BUs and inputting to reports for MPR, and Balance Scorecards and all other TG reporting tools.
- Support with any HQ audit requirements.
Customer:
- Act as a trusted advisor to Business Unit leads and Managers on various HR related matters to support the achievement of the business’s overall objectives.
- Oversees, manages and resolves complex employee-relations and welfare issues, supporting formal appeals and hearings while simultaneously coaching the relevant managers on management best practices.
- Support various HR initiatives such as performance management processes, succession planning, employee development and drive engagement.
Process:
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of company HR processes and policies to ensure employee compliance of company practices, and labor law legislations.
- Works collaboratively with departmental heads throughout the business, assisting them in understanding compensation and rewards programs. Managing employee benefits i.e., schooling, visa, health insurance, Emirates Platinum card and running Employee of the Month recognition program.
- Manage and oversee on/off boarding processes whilst managing end-to-end exit formalities of employees and ensuring the deadlines of our internal SOP are met effectively and in accordance with UAE Labor Law.
Innovation:
- Planning and delivering workshops for target audience on various HR related topics, to raise awareness and educate on topics impacting workforce.
- Conducts research consistently and adds value to the business by presenting an appropriate blend of reactive and proactive solutions, which will further the business’s agenda across all departments and ultimately enable the achievement of overall goal.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Administration or a related field. HR certification is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in employee relations and performance management.
- Excellent understanding of HR best practice and ability to apply this to employee relations cases
- Previous experience with HRIS tools, and proficiency in MS office suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of UAE Labor laws
