Overview
Overview of the role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Sales to lead and drive sales efforts across UAE, Egypt, and KSA. This role is focused on promoting digital services, including retail media solutions to businesses aiming to connect with our expansive member base. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background in digital businesses, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to understand the culture of the 3 different markets & be flexible for some travels.
What you will do:
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for digital services in UAE, Egypt, and KSA.
- Identify growth opportunities and establish long-term relationships with key clients in retail, lifestyle, and other relevant industries.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business goals and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
Market Insights
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities including partnerships’ ones.
- Provide regular feedback to the partnerships and marketing teams to enhance service offerings & ensure market relevance.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including partnerships, marketing, product, and operations, to align strategies and ensure successful delivery of services.
- Lead and mentor a small team or collaborate with local sales representatives in each country to achieve regional goals.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track and report sales performance metrics, ensuring accountability and transparency.
- Analyze sales data to refine strategies and improve performance across regions.
Required Skills to be successful:
- Retail media experience or e-commerce platforms
- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
About the Team: You will be reporting to Chief Marketing Officer
What equips you for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in digital services /retail media with a big B to B focus.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets across multiple markets.
- Strong understanding of UAE, Egypt, and KSA markets, including cultural nuances and business practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Arabic is a must.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis software.
- Ability to travel across the 3 markets.
