Position – GL Accountant
Location – GMS Abu Dhabi Office
Required Competencies (skills, experience, knowledge):
-Minimum of 5 years previous experiences in similar role, audit, and taxation
-Strong knowledge of IFRS and FTA requirements
-Experience of interacting with external auditors / Big 4 audit experience
-Track record in providing financial support to non-finance personnel
-Detailed knowledge of accounting software applications
-Advanced MS Excel skills
-Ability to operate effectively with people at all levels of the business
-Organizational and accounting skills
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment
-Demonstrable ability to work to tight deadlines on critical projects
-High attention to detail, proactive and result driven
-Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively and a strong team player.
Qualifications/Certificates:
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field.
-Chartered Accountancy Qualification will be a plus (either CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA or Equivalent).
