General Accountant

Overview

General Accountant We’re looking for an enthusiastic General Accountant to join our dynamic team and help us achieve new levels of success

Candidates will:

• Record and review daily accounting entries of all transactions, including revenue recognition, expenses and accruals.

• Implement and uphold strong accounting controls to mitigate financial risk and support internal and external audits.

• Manage credit control and monitor outstanding balances, with timely follow-up on overdue accounts.

• Investigate revenue discrepancies and suggest corrective actions to enhance financial accuracy.

• Oversee the daily closing process to ensure all transactions are recorded and reconciled.

• Review accounts receivable aging reports, investigate discrepancies, and recommend actions to improve collection efficiency and maintain a healthy cash flow.

Candidates must have:

• A recognized professional accountancy qualification

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role

• Strong financial reporting skills and IT Skills
