General Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Accountant at Petropipe in Abu Dhabi. The General Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Finalization of Accounts, Prepare Monthly Financial Statements.
• Prepare Sales Order, Delivery Notes, Proforma & Sales Invoices.
• Keep track of the transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Assisting with sales/Purchase Ledgers.
• Communicating clearly & effectively with the customers on Accounts Receivables.
• Submit monthly reports and help in month end closing.
• Keep on track posting the purchase invoices, credit transactions.
• Handling and verifying petty cash and vouchers.
• Debtors and Creditors reconciliation.
• Inventory Creation and Maintain Stocks.

Requirements and skills.

• Graduate/Postgraduate in commerce/Finance.
• 3 to 4 years of UAE Experience must .
• Experience in Trading company will be plus.
• Good Knowledge in Accounting.
• Good math skills.
• Hands on experience with MS-Excel and accounting software
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Reporting skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Deadline oriented.
