Job Description:
The FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) Senior Specialist for the Gulf Region (UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar) is a subject matter expert in key financial systems and processes. This position reports to the GCC FP&A Lead, and works closely with the local finance team, Regional COE, and business stakeholders to prepare budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis. This position has a strong focus on continuous improvement and process efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Forecasting:
- Lead the preparation of Budget and rolling forecasts for sales expenses and projected profitability through collaboration with the finance team & business units.
- Support continuous Gross to Net optimization and provide recommendation to country leaders.
- Subject matter expertise in key financials systems & processes, including the Price / Volume forecasting and COGS/PGM processes (data validation and issue resolution).
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Issue biweekly sales and expenses estimate as well as cyclic reporting to the regional finance team.
- Prepare Business review slides for senior leaders and contribute into the presentations.
- Lead sales Accruals process from evaluation, posting to review, confirmation and balance sheet assessment.
Continuous Improvement and Process Enhancement:
- Work with EEMEA FP&A colleagues to maintain a consistent and efficient process which is aligned with how work is done in other markets, sharing & leveraging best practices.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve financial reporting, and enhance data accuracy and integrity.
Other Responsibilities:
- Participate in cross-functional projects and provide financial expertise and analysis to support decision-making.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and accounting standards to ensure compliance and incorporate relevant changes into financial processes.
- Contribute in shaping/optimizing local business model including participation in negotiation with distributors.
- Contribute to country ongoing business development projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent knowledge of financial systems and software (e.g., LPT, BPC, SAP, PowerBI, Planning Dashboards)
- Digital acumen, with track record of process improvement and automation
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel functions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of key drivers of financial performance.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Bring a high level of energy and desire to contribute to the creation of a high performing FP&A team
