Overview
Reporting to Financial Control, M.E, as Financial Reporting Officer you are expected to perform and support finance-related activities related to Financial Accounting, Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Group Re, Planning, FinOps and Performance Management., Ensure that all tasks and procedures are completed to achieve key business objectives., Efficient stakeholder management internally and externally.
Job Accountabilities: As Financial Reporting Officer, your role will involve:
- Performs close related ledger tasks, e. g. accruals, provisions, reconciliations and journals postings as per local and Group requirements.
- Prepare and analysis of financial statements.
- Managing VAT returns and tax related tasks
- Preparing financial survey and data analysis
- Reconciling bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepares tax returns and supporting workpapers, estimated tax payments and other tax compliance activities.
- Maintains the chart of accounts in accordance with local and Group requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that accounting, finance-related activities, processes, and procedures are followed and completed in line with the Group as well as external requirements.
- Recommends and implements procedural process changes to enhance operating efficiency.
- Performs ICFR controls.
