Overview
Job Summary:
Own performance management reporting, business planning and business analytics across the NMC Group
A junior to mid-level professional with broad Finance experience who will have overall ownership of performance management reporting, business planning and business analytics
Responsibilities:
- Performance Management Reporting:
- Consolidation and reporting of business-wide P&L and KPIs versus budget, prior year, and forecast
- Provide analysis and insight to financial and operational results to better understand company performance
- Establish and utilize BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance
- Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results
- Compile and provide detailed analysis and insights and commentary on cost centre results and variances
- Compile and review productivity and cost saving initiatives across the business, track and report results
- Business Planning (Budget, Forecast, Business Plan):
- Development of business model to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors
- Consolidation of the medium to long term financial budget and strategic plan with business leaders
- Development of monthly projections for the business
- Provide insights to senior management around business planning
- Business Analytics:
- Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
- Communicate recommendations to management for improvements on cost reduction, revenue and streamlining
- Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts.
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business or equivalent. MBA preferred but not essential
- Recognized professional qualification (e.g. CFA, ACA, CPA, CMA, CA) is preferred

- Demonstrated experience using collaboration and influence to develop trusted relationships and drive bold change
- Financial Planning Principles and Practices
- Budgeting Approaches and Tools
- Financial Systems (e.g. Oracle)
- Innovative Financial Planning Practices
- Advanced excel with financial modelling background
- Advanced presentation skills
- Good Financial Analysis skills
- Problem solving capabilities
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or 3 years’ experience in a reputable consulting firm.
