Your Role

Leading finance activities such as but not limited to:

  • Firm’s compliance with the applicable Rules in the DFSA’s PIN Module
  • Financial Control
  • Management Reporting
  • Banking, Investment and Cashflow Management
  • Group Reporting
  • Regulatory Returns
  • Debt Management
  • Liaising with external auditors for Audited Financials
  • Tax returns and filings
  • Gathering, validating and compiling quantitative and qualitative financial information, from multiple internal and/or external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Analyzing financial and business data and information using a variety of proven statistical and other analytical techniques to identify trends, anomalies, gaps, etc
  • Interpreting financial information to determine causality, significance, business impact or implications and developing advice or recommendations for action to be approved by others
  • Preparing forecasts and reports within agreed timescales
  • Ensuring information and interpretation is presented clearly, unambiguously and in a readily comprehensible and appropriate format for the audience and business purpose
  • Contributing to a wide variety of projects and initiatives
  • Running and/or contributing to the development of financial models, tools and analytical processes to meet business needs.
  • Leading, motivating and developing the RSA DIFC finance team to deliver high quality outputs in the most effective ways while ensuring their personal and professional development

About You:

  • Degree in Accountancy, or ACCA qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in the Insurance Industry
  • Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, IFRS, and financial controls
  • Expert in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Communicates positively and effectively
  • Effective team player
