We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join our growing team in Sharjah, UAE.

Job Summary:

The Financial Controller will oversee the company’s financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, managing budgets and forecasts, improving internal controls, and providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership. This is a key leadership role that contributes directly to the company’s success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the finance and accounting team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, VAT regulations, and international accounting standards (IFRS).
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance indicators.
  • Implement and improve financial policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Support strategic planning and provide financial insights to senior management.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee ERP/financial software systems and ensure data integrity.
  • Support fundraising and investment decisions when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive financial experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or controller-level role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local UAE financial regulations.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in the fragrance, FMCG, manufacturing, or retail sector is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Monthly Salary: AED 12,000 – AED 15,000 (based on qualifications and experience).
  • Annual round-trip airfare.
