Overview
MISSIONS
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our international marketing agency based in Dubai, overseeing financial operations within the GCC region. This role involves close collaboration with operational teams, managing budgets, cash flow, client relationships, and coordinating with our accounting partners. Business-oriented, the ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Financial Reporting and Management Support:
-Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, coordinating with various stakeholders.
-Provide monthly reports and analysis (Staff cost, Accruals, Intercompany reconciliationsā¦)
-Implement project KPIs to ensure a close and accurate follow up of entities activity
-Respond to ad hoc requests from management and HQ, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is provided.
- Budget Management:
-Contribute to the preparation of the Annual Budget and forecasts.
-Oversee and manage budgets with operational teams to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with company policy.
- Cash Flow Management:
-Regularly monitor and update the cash flow report to deliver essential insights to management.
-Assess and review treasury and cash requirements for all payment requests across the various entities within the scope.
- Client Relations and Debt Recovery:
-Manage client relationships, including following up on outstanding payments and ensuring timely debt recovery.
- Coordination with Accounting Firm:
-Work closely with the external accounting firm to ensure accurate data entry and timely preparation of financial reports.
-Provide necessary clarifications and answers to their queries.
- Back-Office Supervision:
-Supervise the back-office team, overseeing tasks such as supplier management, sales administration, and database maintenance across various tools.
- Audit and Process Control:
-Implement, and perform internal controls to ensure compliance with business goals.
-Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance and maintain internal controls.
- Regulatory and Compliance:
-Liaise with external auditors to manage all audit-related activities, reporting, and the preparation of Financial Statements.
-Ensure the timely submission of declarations in compliance with local and regional regulations.
-Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international tax laws
WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Masterās degree in Finance.
SKILLS
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets. Salesforce knowledge is a significant advantage.
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management skills.
- Agility, flexibility, autonomy, and a strong ability to analyze and synthesize information.
- Working cross-functionally with other departments
- Excellent command of English is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage, and knowledge of French is a plus.
