Overview
Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the fintech landscape and a proven track record of success in financial analysis and reporting. This role requires an individual with exceptional analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to multitask and manage multiple P&L segments effectively.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct in-depth financial analysis of Botim’s various business segments, including payments, acquiring, remittance, and lending.
· Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for each segment.
· Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insightful commentary on financial performance, trends, and variances.
· Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management, board meetings, and investors.
· Support the VP Finance in various ad-hoc projects, including financial due diligence, market research, and competitive analysis.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand business drivers, and provide financial insights.
· Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the fintech space.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and financial regulations.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
· 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the fintech industry.
· Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial modeling techniques.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA and macros.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
· Experience with financial reporting software and ERP systems is a plus.
