JOB DESCRIPTION
Job holder is responsible to assist in the preparation of financial effect analysis for expansion plans or for introduction of new services, assist in automation of reporting needs using BI tools, supports the finance control matrix and accounting policies, and assist in the internal controls framework and enterprise risk management policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares the financial models for Financial Effect Analysis (FEA) by coordinating with relevant departments to obtain the required information
- Ensures that the Financial Effect Analysis (FEA) is aligned to the ongoing strategic priorities
- Prepares a variety of ad hoc reports as and when required by management to assist in management decision-making
- Prepares bottoms-up costing exercise to determine the cost of services rendered
- Supports discussions / negotiations with the Department of Health, Insurance companies and other stakeholders on the costing and pricing of existing and new services
- Prepares costing for the Research and Education division and pricing of projects and supports data driven price negotiations with sponsors and other stakeholders
- Supports supervisor on major expansion projects and tracks actual expenses against approved budget and reports back to the relevant workgroups and committees
- Assists cost optimization plans in co-ordination with other Supply Chain and other relevant stakeholders
- Assist supervisor in the preparation of various taskforces / committees (such as Pharmaceutical brand selection taskforce, Tender evaluation committee etc.) and facilitate prudent financial decisions to maximize revenue and minimize cost
- Uses BI tools such as Qlik sense and also provides necessary feedback on system improvements
- Provides support to the supervisor on Revenue enhancement initiatives with RCM
- Assists in reviewing the financial and accounting policies for SSMC and have then updated on a periodic basis
- Coordinates and supports in monitoring a robust ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) framework of international standards and ensures controls have been adhered to and departures / control weakness reported

- Ensures completeness and accuracy of reports and FEAs prepared
- Completes the assigned tasks in a timely and reliable manner
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience :-
Required:
- 2-4 years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role
Desired:
- Experience in a large healthcare facility
Educational Qualification: Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Commerce/Economics/ Business Administration or relevant field.
Desired:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Commerce/Business Administration or relevant field
