Finance Specialist

Job descriptionWe are looking for an Accountant (IT company background) to manage Balance sheet, P & L, cashflow, reconciliations, and single handedly manage the accounting and finance of the company, including but not limited to:

• Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
• Preparing budget forecasts
• Processing tax payments and returns (UAE VAT and Corporate Tax)
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Publish MIS
• Reconciliation
• Knowledge of local tax accounting including reconciliation, adjustment and filing tax return.
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Coordinate with auditor and other stake holders for annual account closure and auditing.

Requirements and skills

• Work experience as an Independent Contributor Role managing end to end accounting.
• Good Interpersonal and communication skills (Both internal and external)
• Excellent knowledge on accounting software – ZOHO Books.
• 8-10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Should have worked in IT company as experience.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
